EDIT:  I'll post if anything really interesting happens, but for now I;m just watching and waiting.  If there's a mass migration, things could get ugly, and if this crap continues I'm going to get rid of my plus account.

Hey everyone,

Sorry I haven't updated too much lately.  Work has been insaaaaaane.

Transformers has done way better than expected so everyone and their aged grandmother just HAS to go see it.  And all the assholes HAVE to come to my register.  It's like they can sense me.  I actually snapped back at this one lady who accused me of serving her cold popcorn just to be spiteful.  I mean, come on.  

I worked all last week and I go in almost every day this week as well.  Crazy.  I actually have to leave in about half an hour.

Anyway, after things calm down I hope to get back to fandom-related stuff.  And I still need to watch Doctor WHo's final episode.

I had a dream that I had a dream that Rose came back in the last ep., but then I woke up and it was true.  But it was just a dream.  Still, it made me sad.

I have to go get ready now.

Holy crap.  Everyone needs to go watch Amanda Tapping's Sanctuary.

It is soooooo awesome.





She's hot as a blond AND as a brunette!  D: Not fair.

Anyway, victorian gothic=ftw.  It's filmed in a really cool way remeniscent of Witchblade for all you old-schoolers, or more recently, Underworld.

You can buy the webisodes at www.sanctuaryforall.com, or watch them free here. but with poorer quality.  If you like them, I *strongly* suggenst downloading them.  It really is an awesome show.

Man I am going to miss SG-1 so much.  Atlantis can't even compare.

God, Undending made me cry.  I haven't cried at a TV show since last year and Doomsday.

It's good that Amanda Tapping will be heading over to Idiots In Space Atlantis.  They need some smart people there.  No, not smart, really, but...likeable, there you go.  They need some likeable characters.  Seriously, I've never ever watched a show with fewer likeable characters.  Except Painkiller Jane.  At the moment they've only got McKay (And even he's not likeable so much as he kind of grows on you) and Beckett, so when she joins that'll be...*gasp* three!  I hate pretty much everyone else on that show, ever since they killed off Aiden.  Rainbow Sun Franks was the SHIT as Aiden. 

Also, Sam Carter is like the coolest female scifi character ever.  All the people who are like "No, Sam shouldn't go to Atlantis, she's stuuuuupid and won't work" need to STFU.  The Carter/McKay dynamic ALONE  makes it worth having her on there.  Plus, she's hot.

Carter's always been a favorite of mine.  She's classy in a way that has nothing to do with looks, though she is absolutely gorgeous.  Still, It won't be the same it it's not SG-1.  SG-1 has this epic quality that I've always felt Atlantis just...lacks.  Maybe Amanda'll bring it with her.
